In June 2014, a male guinea pig nicknamed "Randy" gained access to a female-only enclosure at Hatton Adventure World near Warwick, England.
Randy spent several weeks undetected among the females before staff discovered him. They noticed he appeared exhausted and had lost weight, which prompted further investigation and led to his discovery in the wrong enclosure.
During his time there, Randy successfully became father to approximately 400 baby guinea pigs from around 100 females.
